I'm not sure how much difference you will hear since I jumped from old versions and can't compare 8 and 2. Perhaps some other more experienced users will chime in. Even with my limited expertise, it still adds a nice polish. My guess is that Ozone 9 fully utilized would make a bigger difference than I am currently getting. HOWEVER, I have to say, I have not yet employed all the features of Ozone 9, like the starting mix balance and focus option. When I apply Ozone 9, it makes a difference, but not as much as Neutron 3. IZotope Neutron Advanced Crack is a smarter way to mix for music and post manufacture studios. Except for drums, I don't have power golden ears (in spite of my user name it's all I could think of at the time I registered on the forum!), so hearing AND seeing is very helpful to me. Whatever it's doing under the hood is very musical and is a great starting point, or, in come cases, pretty much the ending point. I do mostly drum tracks, though that's my "forte" - some guitar and bass. To your question, I find that Neutron 3 makes the biggest difference.
It's a purchase I'm quite satisfied with. I hemmed and hawed for a while, but very glad I went for Advanced. Took the plunge from Standard to Advanced. This new inter-plug-in communication lets you fix mix issues that hinder mastering and bridges the gap between the two. Got a crossgrade bundle deal Izotope was offering last month. I upgraded from Neutron 1 Standard to Neutron 3 Advanced and from Ozone 5 (I think) Standard to Ozone 9 Advanced.

I will get upgrade but money is tight and wondered what other uses would say on the subject so which should I update first Ozone 8 advanced or Neutron 2? I have the advanced versions and have just started using version 8 and 2 just of late because my mixes have got better. Anybody out there have an opinion on which one of these Ozone 9 and Neutron 3
